Big Idea: Jesus Christ is the greatest gang leader of all time. And He looked at you thugs and He said “I’m gonna die for them, so that I can make them a part of the family with the Father that has gone on forever – a community of love and fidelity that will never end.” And He invites this rag-tag collection of people to take the mark of gany life by being baptised and then to live out what it means to be a gang for Jesus – to have one another’s backs – to be present, to be committed, to protect, to serve, to honor, to sacrifice. By this, all men will know that you are disciples of Jesus Christ – when you love one another.
