Church family,
Here are three items to prayerfully consider:
1) Thursday work night, Aug 7, 5-9PM. This is a great night for folks who have been intimidated by construction because we are going to put in insulation and this requires little expertise. If we get a good crew, we should finish in one night. If you come to help, please wear longs sleeves and pants. We’ll have gloves and masks. If you have any of these tools around, we’d appreciate you bringing them along: tape measure, utility knife, stapler (not a desk stapler), and tall step ladders.
2) Baptism: If you have not been baptized or have a close friend or family member who has not baptized, please contact me soon. We may hold a baptism service later in August or early September.
3) Fall 2014 Small Groups: Please prayerfully consider being a part of a small group Bible study this Fall. Most groups meet on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings in various homes around the Cedar Rapids metro area. There may be a few that meet during the day or on Sunday evening. More details to come on this.
