On August 23, I’ll be preaching on “Hope for Human Sexuality.” Clearly, this is one of the most sensitive and important issues in our culture.
A number of years ago a book came out by Rosaria Champagne Butterfield, a formerly practicing lesbian about her journey to Jesus. The book is called The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert. The audio book is available for free download this month at http://christianaudio.com/
I highly recommend you downloading the book. It is one the best-written books on this subject matter I’ve read. It will make you more sensitive to those in the homosexual community, lead you to love and trust God’s Word, and offer wise counsel for engaging this issue wisely and lovingly in the years to come. (I’d encourage those less tech-savvy to order a print edition to read.)
