With a new year about to start, many of you have requested Bible reading guides.  Click here (Spring 2016 ReadingGuide) for a reading guide that gives you one passage of Scripture per day from January-May. These readings relate to Cornerstone’s Sunday mornings sermons, small groups, and Sunday School lessons (and then a few bonus passages each week for your soul.)

Also, every other year, I read through the Bible. This year I’m doing a Chronological Reading Plan. Would you like to join me? (Let me know if you do.) You can download a list of the passages here: https://www.blueletterbible.org/dailyreading/PDF/1Yr_ChronologicalPlan.pdf

If you like using a smart phone or tablet to take in God’s Word (with an App like YouVersion), you can sign up for my reading plan here: https://www.bible.com/reading-plans/5-chronological. It’s the Blue Letter Chronological reading plan if you’re searching for it.

The goal in reading plans is not to earn some sort of spiritual merit badge. It’s to intentionally study, soak, and savor God’s Word so that we overflow with love toward those around us.

If you’re wanting another reading plan through the Bible, this is a helpful blog post on the myriads of options available: http://blogs.thegospelcoalition.org/justintaylor/2015/12/28/reading-the-whole-bible-in-2016-an-faq/

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Matt
