Cornerstone Church is actively seeking to bring on an Associate Pastor in 2019. This position will direct leadership development at Cornerstone, and perform some duties similar to those of an executive pastor. There will be limited opportunities for Sunday morning preaching. Our church is in the middle of a 5 year vision process called “Growing Up in Christ.” The Associate Pastor would be a key player in joining us for the final two years of this process as we seek to develop in evangelism, discipleship, leadership development and church planting. Cornerstone has budgeted this position to work ~25 hours per week in 2019 (see job description for more details). This position would work well for a man looking for bi-vocational work, a transition into pastoral ministry, or lighter responsibilities from previous pastoral experience.
