Church family,

 

This past Sunday a middle schooler ran up during the potluck to show me she had texted a friend to church. She asked, “So, can I put an acorn in the tree?” And I was like, “Of course!” I heard a new family (almost entirely unchurched) will be visiting Cornerstone this Sunday. I hear that people are inviting others to their small groups. I got a few emails saying they recruited some people to join them in service. This is super fun. We are inviting people to great things. Keep up the great work. Invite folks to your table, into your community groups, into service, to our church, and to our Christ. What a joy; what a privilege.

 

Reminder: if you invite someone, please drop an acorn in our tree (sitting on the offering table). You can also email invite@cornerstone-marion.org or text 319.382.6424. We’ll then drop an acorn in for you. I’m attaching a contact card that you can download right now onto your mobile phones or contact lists that has this email and phone number. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, ask a friend.)

 

Our goal: 1,000 invitations by June 1. 1,000 seeds planted. 1,000 opportunities to be used of God.
