I trust that the fall routine is coming into focus. It has been great to consider together how we can invite people to great things. Maybe you’ve done some inviting this week into your community. Be sure to let us know by text (319-382-6424) or email (invite@cornerstone-marion.org) when you’ve extended an invitation. It is encouraging to celebrate these together. The display of acorns is showing progress, the Gold Acorns are for Invitations to Christ and the Regular Acorns are for all other invitations.

 

Remember the non-perishable food drive going on through Sunday, September 24, for the Marion Food Pantry. Bring your items to the church and we will make sure they are delivered to the pantry. There is an insert in this week’s bulletin giving you a list of needed items. We understand there is a special need for Sugar and Flour right now.

 

If you are newer to our church family, we are offering a Next Steps Class on Sunday, October 1, at 11:00am. This is the best way find out how to plug in to the ministry and activities at Cornerstone Church. We want every person to feel they are a vital part of our family.

 

We are looking at Invitations to “Serve with me” this Sunday. Wouldn’t it be great to see people joining you in investing in the lives of others. I’m sure we will learn more about how God uses invitations like this to bring Him glory.
