As we approach the final Lord’s Day gathering of 2024, I want to express my gratitude for all of the prayer, love, and sacrifices offered by this church family. I look forward to worshipping with you and expressing thanks as we gather on Sunday.

 

Pray for the Elders and Deacons as we navigate the broken furnace above the sanctuary. The 28 year old furnace has a ~$5,000 repair and the HVAC folks believe a full replacement is the wiser course on such an old unit. The initial estimate is $20,000 to lift the old one of the roof and install a new unit. The leaders will do their due diligence in cost comparisons and benefit analysis. Then, they’ll make the call soon because we’re using fans and space heaters in the interim. (Hopefully this is resolved before sub zero weather.)

 

Would you also consider an end of the year gift to our building fund to cover this big ticket expense? Thankfully we have savings in reserve, but if everyone gave a gift toward this we could cover the cost.
