Dear Church Family. At the congregational meeting last night the members voted by an overwhelming majority (95%) to improve the front of our building. I’m thankful for the unity expressed in our body these past several weeks.
Between now and Sunday July 13 we will collect pledges for the project. We need $150,000 in pledges to proceed with a contractor. Pledge cards are located by the offering box; click here for a a pdf version that you can print out and complete your pledge before coming this Sunday.
If you prefer, you can send your financial pledge to our admin Meegan Dyrland via email office@cornerstone-marion.org. We have a team that will be keeping track of the promised gifts.
Drop all pledges into the offering box! We’ll report by July 15 on whether we’ve had enough money pledged for the project to continue. Reminder: we desire to receive written pledges now, not actual donations (yet). Please wait to fulfill your pledge once we know the minimum $150,000 has been committed.
This improvement has been needed for a long time. I’m thankful these underlying maintenance issues will be addressed soon.
Would you prayerfully consider joining us in this work? It’s going to take the pennies of our toddlers and the savings of our tenured saints.
Thank you
Pastor Matt for the Elders
