Dear Church Family,
Where would two little pigs be if it weren’t for that wise brother who not only built a house of bricks but opened the door when his brothers were in need? Though you might not like the comparison, I hope we can all become more like that wise old pig. Serve God where He has placed you with the gifts He has given you. Our Savior did not come to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many. In coming alive to God through the Holy Spirit, we now follow Christ’s example. Bring a little light and hope to our sin-sick world. Don’t sit idly by and let others be eaten by the big, bad world. Engage the people and places God has called you.
On the horizon…
Ministry Kickoff Sunday (next Sunday) – Join us August 24 for a worship service followed by a potluck meal!! We’ll honor those who teach Sunday School. And in addition, all the kids will run off and get to meet their new Sunday School teachers that day as well! All Sunday School classes launch August 31.
*Please be in prayer for those who will be teaching and helping in our Sunday school ministry. (All the SS Teachers have a training this Sunday @11AM.)
**Pray for the small groups that are forming.
***Pray about where you should participate in the body of Christ.
