Dear Church Family,

I’ll try to be brief with lots of details. Read all the way to the bottom, there is a lot going on:

Membership class is coming up on Sunday, September 14, 12:00noon to 4:00pm. You can sign up at the welcome table or contact the church office. This is for those wanting to take the next step in officially joining our church family.
Our Youth Group Fall Launch is on Wednesday, September 10, 6:30pm to 8:00pm. It is open to all students and their parents. It will be held at the Lackey home, 1780 Henderson Dr., Marion.
We are forming a choir that will share in our Sunday Service 4 times over the coming ministry year. First rehearsal is Thursday, September 18, 5:30pm to 6:30pm. It is open to all singers high school and up. A full schedule will be available at the first rehearsal.
Our next Church-wide Prayer Meeting and Meal will be Wednesday, October 1. Meal at 6:00pm and Prayer Service at 7:00pm. We will be praying over our vision of “Equipping All to Engage God’s Call.”
Adult Small Groups are starting up for the coming year. Take a look at the attached flyer and contact the leader of your choice. We encourage you to be part of a smaller community inside Cornerstone Church.
Risen Hope Church in Anamosa is holding an outreach event Worship in the Park ’25 on Saturday, September 20, at 6:30pm. See the attached flyer for details. Attend to encourage or they are looking for a few volunteers to help. Contact the church office.
