Dear Church Family,
I trust you are having an incredible week of serving our Lord wherever He has placed you. May He bless us with opportunities to live and speak for Him and His glory. As a church family, we are “Equipping All to Engage God’s Call.”
Here are four things you should be aware of:
- Tonight, Thursday, is our first choir rehearsal of the ministry year at 5:30pm in the worship center. It is open to all. Come and see what is being planned.
- This Sunday we will be doing Communion in our Small Group format, but with a different pattern. Here is a picture. Each aisle is moving to the back to participate and then returning to your seat by the same aisle. Hopefully this will help with the traffic bottlenecks we’ve been experiencing.
- We will be having a church-wide Prayer Meeting on October 1, meal at 6:00pm and prayer at 7:00pm, with a focus on our new Vision Statement, “Equipping All to Engage God’s Call.” We are encouraging those who are able to “Fast” that day with Breakfast and/or Lunch. We will break the fast together at the 6:00pm meal. You’ll hear more about it on Sunday.
- Work continues on putting together the plan for our facade project. Please pray for smooth negotiations as we work through issues with the construction company.
