Dear Church Family,

These past few weeks have brought trials and tribulations to our body. First, we had some sort of scam artist claiming to be me who gained access to our directory trying to trick people out of money. Second, illness struck young and old. Added to that, people have had falls, unplanned surgeries, and others endure unforeseen economic challenges. I’m praying that the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and our Wicked Foe Satan do not corrupt the good Word being planted in our soul. Hold fast to the gospel; hold out the gospel. Jesus is the slain Lamb and the reigning Lion. The kingdom of God grows and advances. The Father has put His Son at His right hand. Christ rules until all enemies are under His feet. The Spirit supplies all that we need to walk in holiness and obedience. And we’re a part of the Lord’s treasured possession (the church); one day Jesus will come and be with His bride forever. And until He comes, let us be that “chosen race, royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9). Come, Lord Jesus.
