Hello Church Family-

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful day! I am so thankful for the weather we have had lately-cool mornings, warm but not hot afternoons and yes, even the rain to help the crops and our gardens grow! Thank you God for each day you give us!

 

I wanted to send out one more reminder for the shoe drive for the Marion Foundation.  We are about $500 short of where we were last year and would like to at least meet that monetary amount this year.  Please  place a donation in an envelope next to the offering box on Sunday, or give a donation online and choose shoe drive.

 

A reminder about our VBS coming up next month as well! We DO have some postcards that you can give to friends, neighbors, etc next to the offering box and on the small table as your enter the hallway to the sanctuary. We still have about 20 slots available for children and we would love to fill them!!

 

Let us remember we are “Equipping All to Engage God’s Call”. I just read in Ephesians 4:11-12, ” 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds[a] and teachers,[b] 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…”  Don’t grow weary my friends! God is doing in us and through us to grow His Kingdom for His Glory! AMEN!
