Hello!

It’s hard to believe that July is already halfway done! The heat has definitely hit and we are experiencing the typical July heat and dryness.

A few things of note:

VBS is going on right now! Day 1 is in the books. Pray the rest of the week goes well and the little ones take one step closer to knowing and trusting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Our backpack drive is on and we have 24 of 42 kids signed up for. Please continue to make monetary donations through July 26. Sign up to sponsor a child on Sunday as well. Please direct any questions to Anne Cunningham-slypigamrc@gmail.com or 319-360-4194.
Are you newer to Cornerstone or know someone who is? Our Next Steps class is the place to learn more about our core beliefs and mission, and how to connect and participate with us. Meet Pastor Matt and Carrie as they return from sabbatical. Meet in the foyer at 11 AM, on July 26.
Pastor Matt will return to the office on Monday! We have prayed that this sabbatical was restful and fruitful. Now, let’s welcome him back as we get ready to launch into fall!
