Hi, I'm Dave
I’m an Elder at Cornerstone Church and love that my wife, Colleen, and I have been a part of this church since its earliest days.
Originally from Northern Michigan, I made my way to the Marion/Cedar Rapids area in June of 1982. Colleen and I were married in 1989 after meeting at Parkview EFC. We have 3 adult children, two sons and a daughter, whom Colleen homeschooled (she loves teaching young hearts and women).
I’m retired from Collins Aerospace and love a good project, whether at home or at the church.
Three things you may not know about me are:
- I graduated from MTU in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
- I was an Eagle Scout
- My grandfather was born before the Civil War.
My favorite part of my job as an Elder is getting things organized.
