I was born and raised in Tipton, Iowa, and spent a 4 year hiatus in Greenville, South Carolina, for college before moving back to Marion with my wife, Patience. Patience and I met in 2020 in Bonaparte, Iowa, while serving at Solid Rock Christian Camp.

As a Pastoral Assistant at Cornerstone, my role is primarily with the youth group. We have a great group of students who meet every Wednesday night to play games and grow in their understanding of Jesus. Throughout the year, we also take several trips together to attend youth conferences. 

Three things you should know about me (other than that I love Jesus and teaching):

1. I have a dream of flying and am currently in flight school at the Marion Airport.
2. I enjoy playing most sports, but basketball, table tennis, and pickleball are my favorites.
3. My wife and I enjoy traveling together. God has blessed us with the opportunity to visit several countries, with Mexico, Spain, and Italy being among my favorites.

My favorite part of serving at Cornerstone is getting to pour into the lives of others through teaching.
